By fourteen Jay was a regular personality on TV as "Aladdin The Wonder Boy" and "Talent Scene" but most remember him from "The Bozo The Clown Show". Early in his career Jay traveled the east coast performing at scores of new shopping centers as the main attraction for their grand opening. Jay Leslie is one of the last people in America to perform at live Movie-Matinee shows in theaters in the 70's. He is also a living legend among escape artists. Jay Leslie appeared hundreds of times on TV. He was the voice on several television commercials. Jay writes music and produces instructional video tapes and DVDs for magicians. Jay has actively raised money for charities & performed over 7,000 shows to date. He is a former resident magician at Busch Gardens in Virginia. Jay had the benefits of learning from James W. Swoger starting at the age of eleven. James, a well respected old-time magician and ventriloquist, produced an illusion show which traveled from the 40s to the 6os & employed 18 assistants. James retired and sold his entire show to Jay for one dollar.
From Private Parties to Important Corporate events, you can trust Jay Leslie to make your event first class. Jay has a minor in psychology, a degree in theater and holds a US government patent. Jay also owned a retail magic shop for several years and can be very personable when dealing with the public. Prices are reasonable. Performance is optimum.
