Jay Leslie was confirmed a Master Magician in a special cerimony headed by James Swoger on 08/05/06. What makes a Master Magician? The title of Master Magician can not be given to yourself (as many part timers have done) it must be handed to you by at least one other well respected magician who has also mastered the art. According to James Swoger a Master Magician must meet the following criteria.

A. Being an expert in 4 of the 5 disiplines of magic (ie) Sleight of hand, Illusions, Mentalism,      Escapes, Stage magic,
B. They must be expert in designing and creating unique illusions and not just perform tricks      everyone else does.
C. They must have performed for ten years full time as a magician and/or fifteen hundred     shows.
D. They must be adept at performing for people of all ages.
E. They must make 95 percent of their income from being a full time magician.

Jay Leslie exceeds the criteria to be a Master Magician and deserves the title.

What original magic will we see in your show? 4. How many different styles of magic are you good at?
