Jay Leslie was confirmed a Master Magician in a special cerimony headed by James Swoger on 08/05/06. What makes a Master Magician? The title of Master Magician can not be given to yourself, it must be handed to you by a few well respected magicians who have also mastered the art. According to James Swoger a Master Magician must meet the following criteria:

A. Being an expert in 4 of 5 disiplines of magic (ie) Sleight of hand, Illusions, Mentalism, Escapes, Stage Magic.
B. A master must design and create unique illusions and not just perform tricks everyone else does.
C. They must have performed over ten years full time and/or fifteen hundred shows.
D. They must be adept at performing for people of all ages.
E. They must make 95 percent of their income from being a magician.
