The Chair Suspension (below) is a popular addition to home parities and assemblies. It can accommodate a boy or girl that weighs 45 to 75 pounds. We need a hard, flat, level surface to perform this illusionette

Stage the show on a level surface, as a general rule
Every performance is arranged so the audience faces Jay Leslie (like a theater) Indoor shows require 8 feet of space from the wall to the first row of guests If outside, the sun should be behind the children, who may be sitting on the ground Performances should not be set in a traffic zones like doorways or patios Preplan to reroute traffic flow by closing off areas, if needed Please don't tie balloons to chairs, tables or the foot of the stage as they obscure the view ,All distractions should be removed - food, pets, toys, balloons, music & games Strolling magic should be considered when a stand-up show is not possible |

Animals: Our animals are not generally used outdoors because of technical and whether conditions. If temperatures are too high the animals can not perform
If technical or safety conditions are not acceptable, specific tricks (including animal tricks) may be omitted with no effect on payment, even if they were scheduled in the original agreement. Consideration of the health and wellfare of our animals is always Jay's first concern Space: Basic requirements include water and electricity (Electricity is not needed for 40 tricks and 40 jokes) Times: Shows are generally scheduled at 1:00, 3:15 and after 5:00 pm. because most parties start at Noon, 2:00 or after 3:30 pm. The 1:00, 3:00 & 5:00 schedule gives guests enough time to arrive, socalize and eat. An hour after the party starts is usually the right amount of time before Jay starts because people are always late |

Approximately 45 to 65 minutes of fun magic including balloon animals and audience participation. There are 7 places where volunteers will be asked to help including special tricks for the birthday boy or girl (if it's a birthday party) where they are celebrated. Approximately a dozen tricks and routines are performed
This show is also designed to work if there is a breeze and when it's 90 degrees outside. Live animals aren't usually used outdoors due to possible wind, heat and other conditions This show is also permitted in restaurants (State law prohibits the use of animals in eating establishments) |

Jay Leslie has a natural sense of humor. Shows are always fun
B ecause it is a live performance , shows varies between 45 and 70. For smaller parties the time is extended by making balloon animals This program has many theatrical elemants with routines that have a beginning, middle and end. It's as much theatre as it is magic |

Strolling Magic is perfect for Open Houses, Receptions, Banquets and Parties where there are more adults then children You will see Jay Leslie's award winning routines he teaches other magicians and on DVD Do you have big round tables? Are you looking for an ice-breaker? Is it a coctail party ? Strolling magic is probably better. |
