The program has nothing to do with a lecture - it's core root is to illuminate how people get involved in drugs and why it's important to be yourself. This ia all done by using organizational psychology.

Jay has a degree in theater with 58 credits in psychology and psychiatry including developmental and motivational psychology. He was a gifted learner. In the tenth grade was attending accredited courses at a the University of Pittsburgh, (weekends) studying to become a Psychiatrist. Obviously, Jay decided to do something different with his life but those credits didn't go to waste. Jay has applied his knowledge, where it counts, in the arena of the developing mind. no matter the age. You'll get the benefit of an electric performer who will effectively communicate with your audience, in an entertaining way.

Jay was also an auxiliary Police Officer working in a low income district. He has seen the devastating effects of drug use first hand. One day he may have stopped an altercation between addicts or chased a burglar down the street and the next day guard a crime scene where a drug dealer was stabbed. Those days are over and while Jay rarely mentions he was a "Cop" during presentations he does use his knowledge to reach people. What is the message? It's not a single sided lecture. It's not a lecture at all, it's a multi level message that working toward your goals, a little at a time, will result in success. It's understanding there are decisions to make right now, that will set the gears in motion for the future. It's the message of hope. It's the message that nothing is impossible. It's knowing the greatest secret on earth, how to become successful. The presentation teaches a plan of action for the future. It's the knowledge that anyone has the means to take action and become the superstar they believe they can be. And that's the truth no matter how young or old you are.

Combining his knowledge of motivational psychology and illustrative stories, Jay will explain why, and how, keeping on the straight and narrow, will set the stage for future development and success. This is not a boring lecturer. Jay will intertwine magical effects and escapes to illistrate points. He will prove the principles he uses can be applied to any field that students wish to pursue. He will also suggest that students have a back-up plan for the future by learning subjects they may not be interested in and most of all to believe they can achieve the impossible. Younger grades are treated to a less intense version where the program is more fun but still informational. Upper grades experience more thought provoking lessons that are geared for their age group.

There are students who we will never be able to reach and students who already believe in self achievement. It's Jay's job to influence all of them set a course of action that will bring future sucsess.
